This is the rarest form of Deep Mine Elite Type 1 Noble Shungite.

DMG Deep Mine Shungite is found deeper in the mine and stands apart from other Type 1 Shungite due to its distinctive, glass-like appearance. When fractured, it breaks with shatter patterns reminiscent of broken glass bottles—a sign of its pure, clean crystalline structure. This smooth, homogenous surface is a hallmark of high fullerene content and purity.

In contrast, other Type 1 Shungite often appears rough and chunky due to impurities like non-fullerene carbon, iron, or quartz. These inclusions disrupt the crystalline structure, creating jagged edges and an uneven texture. The difference is like comparing a flawless diamond to one pitted with coal inclusions. Both Shungite and diamonds are carbon-based and pressure-formed, but just as a diamond's smooth, clear appearance indicates its purity, DMG Shungite’s smooth, glassy surface reflects its exceptional quality.

Every year, over 10,000 tons of Shungite are mined worldwide, but less than 700 pounds of Deep Mine Elite Type 1 DMG are discovered. This makes DMG Shungite one of the rarest carbon allotropes on Earth—rarer than diamonds.

At Lake Onega, the only place in the world where Shungite is found, the mines are emptying faster now that the popularity of Shungite has exploded. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. Each of these stones is two billion years old and more precious and rare than diamonds. Coincidentally, there are only two forms of stone that are nearly totally crystallized allotrope configurations, and those two are Diamonds and Shungite, but Shungite is so much rarer.

Here's some sobering numbers! There are about 10,000 tons per year of Shungite mined in the entire world. However, most of these rocks are Type III, Type 4, and Type SH—known the world over for leaching heavy metals and giving off radioactivity. I have tested the lower grades and they have no protection or healing sensation, as the Shungite is so mottled with other earth elements that it is not continuous throughout the rock.

Our Type 1 DMG is 97%+ Fullerene and certified to be radiation-free and free of heavy metals. How rare is it? In an entire year, only 200-300 kg (less than 700 pounds!) of Elite Type 1 DMG stones are mined. We're probably a decade out before we can't find DMG's in the mines, but by then, can you imagine the secondary market? The prices, once people start to realize how powerful Type 1 DMG Shungite is, will make it nearly impossible to get.

We rarely get Type 1 DMG's. If you follow this site, you'll know that all of our raw stones are typically sold out. If you see one, and you are so inclined, get it. We have had customers load a product into their shopping cart, only to see that it has been bought by someone else while they were shopping. That's a horrible experience if you found the stone that you have set your heart on. It happens.

I have the mine specifically search for rocks to meet my description and have carried two deep mine rocks in my pockets for over a year now. They are amazingly light due to the nearly 100% Carbon Fullerene composition. You will not find streaks of quartz or iron on the stone. It's homogeneous, and its shape is presented in exact (by definition) fractal geometry.

Pictured are videos and images of the exact stone you will receive. You can see an image of the conductivity test, an image of the stone on the gram scale (to show the actual weight), and different angles of the stone.

This very large, Deep Mine Elite Type 1 Stone ships from Canada within one business day. It comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. As these stones arrive in very small quantities from Russia, they are individually tested, videotaped, and photographed.
