The Cell Plate Proof — The Shungite Medium, Chapter 11

What the body did when the rock was hidden · Chapter summary · from The Shungite Medium by Gary Fong

For years I had been telling people what shungite did about cell phone hazards with no study showing cause and effect. Then Rainer Schneider's paper landed. He took the cell plate I had been telling people to stick on their phones and measured what it did to a body under load, using three involuntary signals: heart rate variability, salivary cortisol and alpha-amylase, sampled during a fifteen-minute phone call. HRV came off an in-ear sensor. Alpha-amylase, the fastest of the three, is the enzyme the salivary glands release on direct command from the sympathetic nervous system.

After a pilot to verify the apparatus, the team ran sixty subjects, an equal mix of men and women, average age 37.6. Phase one was a baseline in a fully screened EMF-free room with no electronics, subjects strapped into a chair to remove movement variables. Phase two was a fifteen-minute call on a Samsung handset held to the head, and HRV fell while salivary cortisol rose. Phase three repeated the call with shungite in place: custom leather-soled insoles, a 30 mm Type 2 cell plate on the phone, a raw Type 1 Elite pendant. HRV rose substantially and cortisol dropped.

Then Schneider hid the plate under the phone case, so the subject did not know whether they were protected. In that blinded condition HRV reached its highest level of the study and cortisol fell below the original empty-room baseline. The pilot also looked at blood oxygen, but fifteen minutes was not long enough for conclusive SpO2 drops, so it stayed out of the headline. I read that as consistent with the porphyrin and rouleaux mechanism from Chapter Eight. Schneider called for further investigation himself.

From the chapter

There is a problem with stopping at Phase 3. A subject who knows a protective device is on the phone might relax simply because they believe it works. Belief alone is enough to soften HRV and cortisol, that is the placebo effect, and any honest study has to account for it. The reverse is also true. A subject who distrusts a device might tense up simply because they are suspicious, the nocebo. Schneider added one more condition to deal with both. The test was repeated, the same fifteen-minute call, but this time the shungite cell plate was hidden, concealed under the phone case. The subject did not know whether they were being protected or not. In that blinded condition, heart rate variability rose to its highest level of the entire study. Salivary cortisol dropped below the original empty-room baseline. Subjects making a phone call with concealed shungite protection were less stressed than they had been sitting in a fully shielded, EMF-free room with no phone at all. The presence of the stone did not just neutralize the phone's radiation. It pushed the body into a calmer state than the radiation-free baseline.
